Criminal Groups

To take part in hostile roleplay as a criminal group, every character involved must be registered to that group through the in-game phone app. If any member of your group is unregistered, or if you team up with players outside your registered group for hostile activity, you count as an unregistered group and are limited to a maximum of 4 participants.

Hydrate categorises criminal groups into four tiers, each with its own member limit for hostile roleplay. The limits for each group type are below.

Unregistered Groups

  • Limited to a maximum of 4 members for hostile roleplay.

Crews

  • Up to 7 members, and all members must be registered to the same crew in the in-game app.

Gangs

  • Maximum 20 members on the official roster.
  • Conflict roster limited to 15 members.
  • All participants in hostile roleplay must be registered to the same gang in the in-game app.

Organisations

  • Maximum 25 members on the official roster.
  • Conflict roster limited to 15 members.
  • Each organisation may additionally have:
    • 5 Life Members (permanent honorary status).
    • 5 Supporters/Hangarounds (non-conflict, limited access).
  • All participating members must be registered to the same organisation to comply with these limits.

Organisation–Gang Partnerships

  • Each organisation may have one primary affiliated gang.
  • Staff must be notified of all new or terminated partnerships through the appropriate channels in the Gangs & Orgs Discord.

Individual & Affiliate Cooldowns

All crew, gang, and organisation rostering is managed in-city through the "Crews" app.

Cooldown Policy

When an individual is removed from the active roster of a crew, gang, or organisation, a one-week cooldown applies.

During the cooldown, the individual must not take part in any hostile activities on behalf of, or in support of, any crew, gang, or organisation. This includes:

  • Picking up bodies or weapons during or after active scenes.
  • Providing information or support to any group engaged in hostilities.

You are expected to pursue other roleplay avenues during this time. Conflict roleplay is off-limits, but business, civilian, and personal storyline roleplay are encouraged.

Business Activity

You may continue legal or neutral business operations unaffected during the cooldown. Only conflict-related activity is restricted.

After the Cooldown

Once the one-week cooldown has expired, the individual may join a new crew, gang, or organisation with no further conflict restrictions.

Additional Notes

  • All criminal group registrations are managed through the in-game phone app. Groups not registered through this app count as unregistered.
  • Gangs and Organisations are designated by staff and may qualify for increased member limits, plus additional benefits and specific rules.
