Supporting Hydrate

Supporter packages, Droplets and the store, Hydrated status, and how to collect what you buy in game.

Hydrate is funded by players who support the server. Thank you! Supporting is always optional: everything you need to play is free.

Supporter Packages

Supporter packages are monthly subscriptions (Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Hydration and H2O, plus the Luna add-on). Depending on the tier, perks include queue priority, extra character slots, monthly Droplets, access to supporter-only motels and dealerships, and more. The Supporter page lists what each tier includes.

Supporter perks need a relog, and can take up to 30 minutes to appear in game.

Droplets

Droplets are store credit for the Droplet Exchange and The Cabinet. They never expire. A new Droplet balance can take up to 5 minutes to show up.

You sign in to the store with Discord: use the same Discord account you play with, so your purchases reach your account.

Two kinds of droplets

In game, you also earn "droplets" by discarding items from cosmetic crates: collect 10 for an Aqua Crate. Those aren't the same as the Droplets you buy in the store.

Collecting Your Items: Token Tony

Most things you buy are collected in game from Token Tony at the supporter dealership.

  • Droplet Exchange and Cabinet items: choose Claim Droplet Purchases. Make sure you have room in your inventory: anything that doesn't fit stays waiting for you, so nothing is lost. Free up some space and claim again.
  • Supporter vehicle tokens and Aqua Coins: enter your Tebex Transaction ID with Token Tony, or type /redeem followed by the ID in chat. It must be redeemed by the same account that paid.
  • Custom tattoos and chains: open a Billing Support ticket in our Support Discord (opens in a new tab) and the team will sort it out with you.
  • Cabinet skips and Express Ban Appeals work on the website, so there's nothing to collect.

Some items need one more step:

  • Number plates and name changes: take the token to Sharon at City Hall. For a plate, the vehicle needs to be parked in a garage.
  • Custom phone numbers: use the token while your phone is in your inventory.
  • Cabinet armour belongs to the character who claimed it, so claim it on the right character.

Hydrated

Hydrated is a status the team gives to players for great roleplay. It can't be bought. Hydrated players can:

  • Own property (see Housing)
  • Use the Country Club and Bayview Lodge, including their dealerships
  • Work for more than two businesses at once
  • Take more kinds of items when robbing someone (see Robbing and Scamming)
  • Have more character slots

Being a supporter doesn't make you Hydrated, and Hydrated status doesn't depend on supporting.
