Money and Banking
Cash vs your bank account, where to find banks and ATMs, and which things are paid by cash or card.

You have two kinds of money in the city: cash in your pockets, and money in your bank account.
Cash and Bank
- Cash is an item in your inventory, called Money. You can hand it to people or drop it, and it can be stolen if you're robbed.
- Bank money sits safely in your Fleeca account. Every character has their own personal account.
To see both on screen, type /hud and turn on the status panel. It's hidden until you do.
Banks and ATMs
- Fleeca branches: hold Left Alt at the counter to deposit, withdraw or transfer. There are branches at Legion Square, Boulevard Del Perro, Burton, Hawick and on the Great Ocean Highway.
- Bank tellers at the Main Bank and Route 68 (and the Country Club, for Hydrated members) can open the bank menu with Open Bank, and pay out your job earnings (see Jobs and Getting Paid).
- ATMs are all over the city. Hold Left Alt on one for quick withdrawals from $500 to $7,500.
- Fleeca Bank app: check your balance and transfer money from your phone.
How You Pay for Things
Some things come out of your bank account, and some need cash.
| How it's paid | Examples |
|---|---|
| Bank only | Licences, motel rent |
| Bank, or cash if your bank can't cover it | Hospital check-in, buying a vehicle, moving a car between garages, vehicle rentals |
| Cash only | Fuel, and anything bought at a shop counter: 24/7, Digital Den, Ammu-Nation, YouTool, the Pharmacy and job shops |
Keep some cash on you for fuel and shopping, and the rest safe in the bank.
Paying a Business
Some player-run businesses can send you a bill from their Payments app. You'll get a prompt to pay by card or cash, or to decline.
Getting Paid
- Civilian jobs build up earnings that you collect from a bank teller. See Jobs and Getting Paid.
- Selling fish, produce and other goods to buyers around the city pays straight into your bank.
- Business and government jobs pay a salary too.
