Rule Violation Policies

Hydrate enforces its rules with a warning points system. Every violation is assigned points based on how severe it is, points add up over a rolling 90-day period, and reaching certain totals triggers escalating punishments. This keeps enforcement fair, consistent, and predictable, so both staff and players know what to expect.

Staff Decisions

All staff decisions are final. If a staff member takes action against you and you disagree, engage with them constructively and review the Respect the Staff Team rule for how to conduct yourself.

There are no appeals for warnings. (Bans can be appealed — see Ban Appeals.)

In-Game

Rule violations vary in severity. The staff team decides which category a violation falls into when issuing a punishment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are points assigned?

Points are assigned based on the severity of the violation: minor violations earn 1 point, moderate violations earn 3 points, and major violations earn 5 points. The staff team decides which category a violation falls into.

Can I reduce my points?

Points older than 90 days automatically drop off, lowering your total over time as long as you commit no new violations.
