GTA VI Ultimate Edition Giveaway Terms

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These are the rules for the GTA VI Ultimate Edition giveaway (the Giveaway). They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they disagree about the Giveaway, these rules win. Entering means you agree to them.

1. Who runs it

The Giveaway is run by Hydrate ("we", "us"), the Australian FiveM roleplay community at hydraterp.com. You can contact us through the Hydrate Discord.

It isn't sponsored, endorsed or run by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Sony Interactive Entertainment or Microsoft.

2. When it runs

All times are Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). Our server's clock is the official time.

3. Who can enter

You can enter if, when you enter and when the winner is drawn, you:

• are 18 or older,
• live in Australia,
• have a Hydrate website account linked to your Discord account, and
• aren't banned from Hydrate.

You can't enter if, when you enter or when the winner is drawn, you are:

• Hydrate staff,
• anyone involved in running the Giveaway or drawing the winner, or
• an immediate family member of anyone above.

Minimum playtime

To be in the draw, you need at least 6 hours of playtime on Hydrate by the moment entries close (11:59:59pm AEDT, Tuesday 17 November 2026).

• We count the total across your active characters. Time on characters that have been deleted or disabled doesn't count.
• We use the playtime our server has recorded for you, and we freeze everyone's playtime when entries close. Playing after that doesn't count.
• You can enter before you reach 6 hours, and the Giveaway page shows your progress. If you're still short when entries close, you won't be in the draw.

4. How to enter

1. Sign in at hydraterp.com and open Store → Giveaway.
2. Confirm you're 18 or older and live in Australia, and accept these rules.
3. Select Enter the giveaway.

Entry is free. You don't need to buy anything to enter or to win, and buying something doesn't change whether you can enter.

You can enter once. If you use more than one account, every account you use is disqualified. We can also disqualify entries we reasonably believe involve fraud, bots or tampering.

5. Tickets

Every eligible entrant gets 1 ticket. Supporters get extra tickets, based on the supporter tier they hold at the moment entries close (11:59:59pm AEDT, Tuesday 17 November 2026):

• Only the moment entries close counts. We check everyone's tier automatically at that moment. You don't need to do anything.
• If your subscription has ended by then, you get no bonus tickets, only the standard 1 ticket. "Ended" means its paid period ran out, or it was refunded or charged back. It doesn't matter what tier you held earlier in the Giveaway.
• A subscription whose paid period still covers that moment counts, even if you've already cancelled its renewal.
• Anything that changes after entries close (an upgrade, downgrade, cancellation or renewal) doesn't change your tickets, including before or during the draw.
• A chargeback leads to a ban, and banned accounts are left out of the draw completely (see section 3).
• If you hold more than one tier, you get the tickets for your highest tier only. Add-ons (like Luna Supporter) don't add tickets.
• Supporter subscriptions are sold at their usual price. Nothing costs more because of the Giveaway.

6. The prize

There is one prize: GTA VI Ultimate Edition, given as a digital PlayStation Store or Xbox gift card worth AUD $160, the full price of the Ultimate Edition at launch. The winner chooses which store, then buys the game with it.

• You get the gift card, not a game code. We don't promise anything about the game's release date or price, or whether it runs on your console. If the price changes, the gift card is still worth AUD $160. You can spend it on anything in that store.
• The card may come as more than one code adding up to $160 (for example $100 + $60).
• Cards are for the Australian PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store, and Sony's or Microsoft's own terms apply to them.
• The prize can't be swapped for cash or another prize, and can't be transferred. If we can't get the card, we'll give a prize of the same or higher value.
• The total prize pool is AUD $160.

7. The draw

• The draw runs on the Giveaway page, from 8:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 18 November 2026. It's shown to everyone on the page and may be streamed.
• Only entrants who are still eligible at the draw, and who had the minimum playtime when entries closed, are included. A computer picks one ticket at random out of every ticket in the draw. Every ticket has the same chance, so more tickets means a better chance.
• We also draw 2 reserves, in order, the same way. People already drawn are left out of the later picks.
• Before the winner is shown, the page shows a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) of the full list of entries, and afterwards the random seed used. We keep the entry list and the seed, so the draw can be checked and repeated later, and the fingerprint shows the list wasn't changed once the draw started.

8. Telling the winner and claiming the prize

• We'll tell the winner on the Giveaway page and by Discord direct message within 1 hour of the draw. We'll announce the winner's Discord username on the Giveaway page and in the Hydrate Discord.
• The winner has 72 hours from our message to reply and claim. We'll make every reasonable effort to reach them: a Discord DM, a mention in the Hydrate Discord, and a message in game.
• To claim, the winner may need to complete a brief ID check to confirm they're 18 or older. We only look at the ID to confirm this, and we don't copy, keep or store it in any form once you're verified.
• We send the gift card code(s) by Discord DM. We aim to do this on 18 November so the winner can play on release day, but we can't promise that.
• If the winner doesn't claim in time, isn't eligible, or turns the prize down, they lose it, and we offer it to the first reserve, then the second, each with 72 hours to claim.
• If nobody has claimed by 11:59pm AEDT on Tuesday 1 December 2026, we hold a redraw at 8:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 2 December 2026 from the remaining eligible entrants. We'll tell that winner the same way.

9. Your information

We use your Hydrate account details (account ID, Discord ID and username, supporter tier and playtime) to run the Giveaway, check you're eligible, and contact you if you win, as described in our Privacy Policy. We keep Giveaway records for 2 years, then delete them.

If you win, you agree that we can publish your Discord username.

10. Other things

• If something outside our reasonable control affects the Giveaway (for example fraud, a technical failure or tampering), we may pause, change or end it, as far as the law in each state and territory allows. We'll tell entrants on the Giveaway page as soon as we can.
• Nothing in these rules limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss to do with the Giveaway, other than loss we can't legally exclude.
• These rules are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

11. Trademarks

Grand Theft Auto, GTA VI and Rockstar Games are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. PlayStation is a registered trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. Xbox is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies. We mention them only to describe the prize.
