Asset Submissions
Hydrate may accept user-submitted assets such as clothing or MLOs. Acceptance is never guaranteed - every submission is reviewed case by case.
Global Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all asset submissions. Where they apply, also follow the specific guidelines for Clothing and MLOs below.
- Copyright compliance: Every asset must be original or used with the copyright holder's explicit permission. We will not accept models ripped from other games or packs without authorisation.
- Community Guidelines: Every asset must comply with the Hydrate Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
- CFX.re compliance: Every asset must follow the CFX.re Terms of Service.
- Working with third-party developers: If you commission a third-party developer, make sure they fully understand and follow these guidelines before they start work. Do not assume an asset will be accepted - if you have any doubts, ask first. Hydrate makes the final decision on acceptance, will not approve assets that fail to meet these guidelines, and takes no responsibility for any financial or time losses on assets that are not accepted.
Clothing
- Get every clothing design approved before you submit it, so it meets our sensibility guidelines.
- Clothing must stay within our polygon and texture size limits. Consult the Hydrate team beforehand to confirm these requirements.
MLOs
- Discuss every proposed location with the team before submitting, so it doesn't conflict with existing assets, high-traffic areas, or spaces reserved for future content.
- We will decline MLOs that are poorly optimised, poorly made, or likely to hurt player performance.
Custom Peds
- We are not currently accepting custom ped submissions. We will update this policy if that changes.
