Criminal Groups
For a character to operate as part of a criminal group and participate in hostile roleplay, they must be registered within that group via the in-game phone app. If any member of your group is not registered, or if you are teaming up with members outside your registered group for hostile activities, you are considered an "unregistered group" and are limited to a maximum of 4 participants.
Hydrate Roleplay categorises criminal groups into three tiers, each with specific rules on member limits for hostile roleplay. Below are the guidelines for each type of group.
Unregistered Groups
- Limited to a maximum of 4 members for hostile roleplay.
Crews
- Crews may consist of up to 7 members, but all members must be registered within the same crew on the in-game app.
Gangs
- Gangs have a maximum of 15 members on their official roster.
- Their conflict roster is limited to 12 members.
- All participants in hostile roleplay must be registered within the same gang on the in-game app.
Organisations
- Organisations have a maximum of 30 members on their official roster.
- Their conflict roster is limited to 20 members.
- In addition, each organisation may have:
- 5 Life Members (permanent honorary status)
- 5 Supporters/Hangarounds (non-conflict, limited access)
- All participating members must be registered within the same organisation to comply with these guidelines.
Organisation-Gang Partnerships
- Each organisation may have one primary affiliated gang.
- Staff must be notified of all new or terminated partnerships through the appropriate channels in the Org | Gang | Businesses Discord.
Individual & Affiliate Cooldowns
All crew, gang, and organisation rostering will now be managed in-city via the "Crews" app.
Cooldown Policy
When an individual is removed from the active roster of a crew, gang, or organisation, a two-week cooldown period will apply.
During This Cooldown:
- The individual must not participate in any hostile activities on behalf of, or in support of, any crew, gang, or organisation.
- This includes:
- Picking up bodies or weapons during or after active scenes.
- Providing information or support to any group engaged in hostilities.
You are expected to pursue other roleplay avenues during this time. Conflict RP is off-limits — but you are encouraged to engage in business, civilian, or personal storyline roleplay.
Business Activity
You may continue legal or neutral business operations unaffected during the cooldown. Only involvement in conflict-related activity is restricted.
After the Cooldown
Once the two-week cooldown has expired, the individual may join a new crew, gang, or organisation without any further conflict restrictions.
Additional Notes
- All criminal group registrations are managed through the in-game phone app. Groups not registered through this app are considered unregistered.
- Gangs and Organisations are designated by staff and may qualify for increased member limits, along with additional benefits and specific rules.
