Hydrate Roleplay ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you interact with our Server and Services, including both in-game interactions and out-of-game platforms such as Discord or our website. By using Hydrate Roleplay, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Definitions​

  • Personal Data: Any information that directly or indirectly identifies a User, including but not limited to usernames, email addresses, IP addresses, CFX.re account IDs, Discord account IDs, Steam account IDs, Rockstar Games account IDs, anonymised hardware tokens, or other identifiers collected during interaction with the Server or other Services.
  • Automatically Collected Information: Data related to your interactions with the Services, including gameplay activities, communications, and behaviour, to ensure compliance with Community Guidelines and to prevent cheating.
  • System Information: Technical data collected from your device used to generate a device-specific signature, including configuration or hardware attributes that may uniquely identify your system.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: External companies or services that process data on behalf of Hydrate Roleplay, such as Tebex for payment processing or Google Analytics for website traffic analysis.
  • User: Any individual who accesses or interacts with the Hydrate Roleplay Server or associated Services.
  • Server: Refers to Hydrate Roleplay’s online roleplaying platform.
  • Services: Refers to any and all aspects of Hydrate Roleplay, including but not limited to the Server, supporting infrastructure, management tools, communication platforms (e.g., Discord), and any other systems or tools used to facilitate the operation, management, or communication of the Hydrate Roleplay experience.

3. Minimum Age Requirement​

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from an individual under 16, we will take steps to delete such data as soon as possible.

4. Information We Collect​

We collect information directly from you as well as automatically through your interaction with the Hydrate Roleplay Server and Services. The types of information we collect include:

  • Personal Data: This includes, but is not limited to, usernames, email addresses, CFX.re account IDs, Discord account IDs, Steam account IDs, Rockstar Games account IDs, anonymised hardware tokens, and other unique identifiers provided when accessing the Server and Services.
  • Automatically Collected Information: Data related to your interactions with the Services, including gameplay activities, communications, and in-game behaviour to ensure compliance with Community Guidelines and to prevent cheating.
  • System Information: Technical characteristics of your device that are used to understand platform usage and ensure integrity. This data may be used to generate a unique identifier for your system.
  • Analytics Information: We use Google Analytics to track and report website traffic, user behaviour, and interactions. This may include IP addresses, browser types, device information, and location data.

5. How We Use Your Information​

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Gameplay and Community Management: To enforce Community Guidelines, monitor gameplay activities, and prevent cheating or misuse of the Services.
  • Analytics and Performance Monitoring: To improve and optimise Services performance and user experience.
  • System Information and Security: To identify abusive patterns of access and ensure platform integrity. This data is accessed only by the most privileged system roles, with strict auditing and controls in place.
  • Communication: To respond to enquiries, process support requests, or manage ticketing systems via the Hydrate Roleplay Discord.
  • Compliance and Security: To detect and prevent threats to the Services.

6. Data Sharing​

We do not sell or trade your personal data. However, we may share your data with the following entities:

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with external companies such as Tebex or Google Analytics for legitimate operational purposes. These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.
