Pure Mode

Hydrate runs with FiveM's Pure Mode enabled, which blocks unapproved client modifications.

By default you have to re-enable Pure Mode every time you connect. To turn it on automatically, edit your FiveM shortcut so it always launches in Pure Mode.

Enable Pure Mode by Default

  1. Find your existing FiveM shortcut, or create a new one somewhere convenient such as your desktop.
    • To create one, open %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app, right-click FiveM.exe, and choose Send to > Desktop (Create Shortcut).
  2. Right-click the shortcut and select Properties.
  3. In the Target field, add a space followed by -pure_1 at the very end.
    • Example: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.app -pure_1
    • Make sure there is a space before -pure_1.
  4. Click OK to save.
