Asset Submissions
Hydrate Roleplay may accept user-submitted assets, such as clothing or MLOs, under specific circumstances. However, acceptance is not guaranteed, and each submission will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Global Guidelines
The following guidelines apply to all asset submissions. Additionally, please adhere to specific guidelines for Clothing and MLOs when applicable.
- Copyright Compliance: All submitted assets must be original or used with explicit permission from the copyright holder. Submissions containing models ripped from other games or packs without authorisation will not be accepted.
- Community Guidelines: All assets must comply with the Hydrate Roleplay Community Guidelines.
- CFX.re Compliance: All assets must follow the CFX.re Terms of Service.
- Working with Third-Party Developers: If you are commissioning a third-party developer, ensure they fully understand and follow these guidelines before starting work. Do not assume that an asset will be accepted; if you have any doubts or questions, please ask beforehand. Hydrate Roleplay will make the final decision on asset acceptance. Assets that do not meet our guidelines will not be approved, and Hydrate Roleplay assumes no responsibility for any financial or time losses related to unaccepted assets.
Clothing
- All clothing designs must be approved before submission to ensure they adhere to sensibility guidelines.
- Clothing submissions must comply with polygon and texture size limits. Please consult the Hydrate team beforehand to understand and meet these requirements.
MLOs
- All proposed locations must be discussed with the team prior to submission to avoid conflicts with existing assets, high-traffic areas, or spaces reserved for future content.
- Submissions for MLOs will be declined if they are poorly optimised, poorly made, or likely to negatively impact player performance.
Custom Peds
- Submissions for custom peds are not currently being accepted. Updates on this policy will be provided if it changes.
