Prohibited Conduct and Language

Hydrate Roleplay maintains a strict zero tolerance policy on harmful behaviours and language. These rules apply in-game, out-of-game, and across all Hydrate community platforms.

Prohibited Conduct​

The following actions and behaviours are never permitted under any circumstance:

  • Rape roleplay or references
  • Suicide roleplay or references
  • Self-harm roleplay or references
  • Roleplaying a character under the age of 18
  • Pregnancy roleplay
  • Sexual harassment, including:
    • Unwanted sexual advances or explicit comments
    • Inappropriate, explicit, or suggestive behaviour that causes discomfort
  • Out of character threats or intimidation, including:
    • Threatening another player outside of roleplay
    • Encouraging or inciting harm (physical, emotional, or otherwise) toward any individual
    • Doxxing, harassment, or blackmail of any kind

Prohibited Language​

The following language and expressions are never permitted under any circumstance, regardless of intent:

  • Racist, homophobic, or other discriminatory slurs
  • Derogatory or degrading terms, including:
    • Sexually charged insults (e.g., slut, whore, etc.)
    • Accusatory insults such as paedophile
  • Any other derogatory, offensive, or discriminatory language

Player Responsibility​

We aim to foster an immersive and creative roleplay environment with as much freedom as possible — but that freedom does not excuse harmful conduct or language.

Hydrate is an inclusive community that welcomes people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Discrimination, bigotry, or exclusionary behaviour of any kind is not tolerated.

It is your responsibility to ensure your actions, words, jokes, and storylines respect boundaries and do not make others uncomfortable, whether in-game or out-of-game.

Enforcement​

Hydrate Roleplay staff will have the final say on what is deemed inappropriate.

Attempts to justify harmful behaviour as "just roleplay" or "just a joke" will not be accepted.

Violations of these rules will result in immediate and serious consequences, including permanent removal from the server and all other Hydrate community platforms.

Reporting​

Please report any player violations of these categories via our Support Discord. All reports will be handled promptly and with discretion by senior staff to ensure player safety and privacy.
