Halloween Purge Night

Before it starts

• You'll see short notices in game through Friday, and the full Emergency Broadcast at 6:35pm and 7:35pm
• At the siren, everything you're carrying is put away (cash included). Your phone and radio stay on you. Everything comes back when the night ends. Nothing you own is at risk
• Houses, motels and garages are closed for the night. There are no locals or traffic, and police and EMS are off duty

How it works

• You parachute in with a starter SMG, some ammo and a vest, plus a random Halloween mask
• Every convenience store is a free armoury. Each one stocks its own kit (pistols, hand cannons, SMGs, shotguns, rifles or Halloween specials), and the blip shows which. Take as much of its guns, ammo and vests as you can carry. All of it is free
• Die and you lose what you picked up. After a few seconds you parachute back in with the starter kit. You're protected while you fall and for a moment after you land
• On the death screen, press E to spectate instead. Press E again when you're ready to drop back in
• You can't run people over: cars drive straight through anyone on foot. Car-on-car is fair game
• F7 shows the full leaderboard. Only Purge locations show on your map

Points

• 100 per kill, +25 for a headshot
• Streak bonuses from your 3rd kill in a life, and +50 for ending someone's 5+ streak
• Killing the same person over and over stops paying, so go find someone new

Events through the night

• 🔥 Hot Zones every 15 minutes. Kills inside are worth +75
• 📦 Supply Drops every 20 minutes. First to open one gets a heavy weapon, armour and +50
• 🌕 Blood Moon every 30 minutes. Double points for 5 minutes
• 💀 The Hunter: one player is picked to be the Hunter, with double health, full armour and their own weapons. Everyone can see them on the map. Kill the Hunter for +500, or survive 10 minutes as the Hunter for +750
• 🚗 Death vehicles: armoured cars around the city, marked on your map. First come, first served

☠️ The Final Purge (around 12:35am)

• The last 30 minutes. No more respawns. Die and you're out, and you can watch the rest
• A wall of gas closes in on one part of the city. It's shown on your map 10 minutes before it starts, so get inside
• The armouries and every store shut 15 minutes in. What you carry is all you get
• Last one standing wins. It doesn't end on the clock

Prizes

Top 3, top 10, last one standing, most Hunter kills and the best streak all win Halloween prizes. They're handed out after the night.

When it ends, everyone stays on the results screen until the server restarts. Then your things are back, and the city goes back to normal.
